Un Secolo d'Azzurro - The history of the Italian national football team
Comune di Rimini
Curated by Mauro Grimaldi and promoted by Aldo Rossi Merighi and Sabrina Trombetti of the S. Anna Association (representative of Interests at the Chamber of Deputies for Sport and Collections), the exhibition, organised by the Blu&Blu Network and Art Book Web, will take fans and enthusiasts on an exciting journey through over one hundred years of the history of the Italian national football team, interweaving sport and culture in a path that will appeal to all generations.
Visitors will be able to admire an extraordinary collection of original memorabilia: from the first Azzurri jerseys worn by the champions of the past, to the boots and balls that have made football history, to the posters of international competitions and newspaper articles that have recounted the exploits of the Azzurri. There will also be trophies, blow-ups and exclusive documents, including the first rules of the game of football drawn up in 1895.
The exhibition is divided into different thematic sections, from the origins of Italian football to the present day. It starts from the very beginnings of football, through the World Cup triumphs of 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006, passing by iconic moments such as the legendary Italy-Germany 4-3 semi-final at the 1970 World Cup, up to the unforgettable success of Euro 2020.
A strategic partner of the Exhibition will be Rimini FC with a display of jerseys, memorabilia and historical photos of the club that will welcome the Italian national football team to Rimini. Numerous collateral initiatives will be organised in the city in close collaboration with the Club Biancorosso during the entire exhibition period.
WHERE: at the Fellini Museum, in the Isotta Wing of Castel Sismondo in Rimini.
WHEN: from March 13 to June 8 (closed on non-holiday Mondays)
OPENING HOURS: 10 A.M. - 1 P.M.; 4 P.M. - 7 P.M.
